On 27 May 2026, Hollis attended ‘De Langste Tafel’ (‘The Longest Table’) event, where 1500 people had dinner together in support of refugees and asylum seekers in Amsterdam. She was interviewed and featured in this article in Het Parool.

Amsterdam resident Hollis Kurman heard about the evening through a friend at the Refugee Company. ‘I immediately said yes since who could say no? The world is so full of polarization, hate, and misunderstanding. I’m happy to join anything that can help make refugees feel welcome’
