‘A Summer to Recover’, the first excerpt from Hollis’ work-in-progress concussion memoir, was just published in the summer issue of Amsterdam Quarterly. In this piece, Hollis sets part of her recovery journey against the backdrop of emerging from Covid lockdown and facing an empty nest – without yet having healed fully from her concussion.
