Please join Ivy Circle Netherlands and the Princeton Alumni Association Netherlands for a timely and essential conversation on the evolving partnershipbetween Europe and the United States.

Following a period of unprecedented strategic shifts, the bedrock of transatlanticrelations is being redefined. Are we witnessing a permanent structural rupture orthe birth of a more autonomous European security architecture?

The evening will feature an in-depth interview with
Douglas Jones (Princeton*06, Fulbright Board Member), former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian affairs (2021-2024) and former Chargé d’Affaires and Deputy Permanent Representative at the US Mission to NATO (2018-2021). Doug brings unique insight into the current geopolitical landscape. The session will be moderated by
Hollis Kurman, Chair of Ivy Circle Netherlands.

Together, they will explore the “strategic choices” facing the EU and the US as they navigate a landscape marked by both deep-seated history and radical new policy realities.
