Together with fellow debut author Ruth Erica, Hollis will be interviewed about their individual journeys from idea to publication, how they are approaching publicity in a pandemic, and other words of advice they can offer to their fellow writers.

In a StoryMachine exclusive, award-winning illustrator Barroux creates a new short film about kindness every day during ILFDublin. Known for his depictions of empathy and hope, in his new book Hello! A Counting Book of Kindnesses, written by Hollis Kurman, a family travels out of danger to a safe place, encountering all sorts of kindnesses along the way.ย
